Reservation
Policies and Procedures
All
rates are subject to applicable Hawaii State Taxes currently 4.166%
General Excise Tax and 7.25% Transient Accommodations Tax.
Payment Policy:
To
confirm a reservation, a three (3) night deposit is required at
the time of booking. The full balance is due 45 days prior to arrival,
with the exception of reservations held for the Christmas holiday
(12/20-1/07). The full balance for Christmas reservations is due
by November 1st. All reservations are subject to a Security Deposit.
The use of the Credit Card Authorization form provides a guarantee
of payment for charges incurred due to missing items, damages to
unit or excessive cleaning required at the time of check out.
Cancellation Policy:
If
a reservation is canceled 31 or more days prior to arrival, all
payments will be returned less a $35 cancellation fee. (Exceptions
apply to reservations for Christmas.) If a reservation is canceled
30 to 21 days prior to arrival, a 3-night deposit is forfeited.
If a reservation is canceled 20 days or less prior to arrival, full
payment is forfeited.
Christmas
reservation cancellation policy:
If a reservation is canceled 45 or more days prior to arrival, all
payments will be returned less a $35 cancellation fee. If a reservation
is canceled 44 to 31 days prior to arrival, a 5-night payment is
forfeited. If a reservation is canceled 20 days or less prior to
arrival, full payment is forfeited. If we are able to rebook a cancellation,
a full refund will be provided less the $35 cancellation fee. No
refunds are made for unused nights resulting from late arrivals
or early departures regardless of cause. Check-in time is 3 pm and
check-out time is 11 am. Requests for late check-outs are subject
to a minimum charge of $50.00 and/or up to 1/2 day room rate depending
upon time of departure. Late check-outs are subject to availability
and can be honored no earlier than 48 hours. Late check-out requests
must be made 48 hours prior to departure. If you have a late flight,
i.e., after 6 pm, we recommend you book the unit for an extra day
if you wish to be confirmed ability to remain in the unit. Daily
maid service is not included, however, additional services can be
provided at an additional fee. Requests for additional maid service
must be received prior to your arrival. All units are individually
inspected prior to each check-in to ensure your complete satisfaction.
As well each unit is inspected immediately following each check
out to ensure that the unit is left in satisfactory condition. Any
missing items, damage or extensive cleaning required will result
in additional charges and will be applied to the guest credit card.
An invoice will be provided to outline any additional charges incurred
immediately following guests stay. As Maui Beachfront Rentals acts
as a rental agent for individual home owners, rented accommodations
cannot be completely controlled. Problems rarely occur, but should
such a situation arise whereby the accommodations specified on your
confirmation become unavailable, Maui Beachfront Rentals reserves
the right to substitute alternate accommodations up to and including
the day of arrival. Alternative accommodations will be equal to
or better than the original accommodations reserved.
