Reported by Dj - Last Saturday James & I headed out to Hot Rod Hobbies to try out the cross over track, with a fast high speed sweeper corner, triples & quad jumps the track looked like a lot of fun. With a quick stop over the famous Serrento's Deli in Culver City for some killer Pastrami's we food coma-ed over to the track ready for some action. As soon as we got to the track James was locked & loaded with a battery in his Hyper 9e & practicing laps. I was ready to whoop out the Hyper TT on stock tires & see how it felt with outdoor conditions. My TT was stuck to the track & every turn you could hear the tires screeching which made a fun time.James also was having fun on the track with his 9e & we were set to race for the afternoon. Qualifying was a little harsh in electric buggy as my buggy was loose on my tire choice and not looking over my buggy when needed but in my Hyper TT it went to TQ in Unlimited SC. James got the better qualifying time in buggy so he started 2nd, I started 5th but the race was a little hectic as I was barreled into last into the first corner from cars behind me. It took some time to get clear of drivers to get into second & try to catch James who was leading by 11 sec. But with some bobbles from James(I think he heard his name too much and he started to glitch) I got closer to him. He caught up to back markers fast and they were racing for positions as James was lapping but they did not want to give up their spots and ended up tagging James to put him upside down and for me to take over top spot and grab the win. For James the back marker hit took him out of the race for the DNF and finish toward the back "DARN!!"

   My Hyper TT was ready to take it all for Unlimited SC as my TT was even faster as the evening set & the track was at it's best. I made one turnover in the race but the rest of the race was destroyed by the TT as I continued to lap drivers over and over in the 7 min race.

Reported by Gaige Hererra - I was racing the Hyper TT at OCRC Sunday night Racing and the first qualifier Ryan Dunford got the TQ with a 14 5:07 and I finished second, second qualifier I managed to get in the lead and take the TQ with a 15 5:10 a whole lap faster. On the start I got spun out so I had to play catch up.. I caught Ryan  with 3 minutes to go and made a clean pass on the inside to get the lead and pulled away to get the lead and finish with a 15 5:03...

Reported by Brian Bourland - The race weekend started off with a snow storm Thursday that brought 4-5 inches to the area.  Traveling through the icy conditions was tough at times but I arrived at the track later that evening.  It was just in time to setup and checkout the last few minutes of open practice. Friday consisted of 2 rounds of controlled practice.  That was followed by one round of 5 min. heats to seed the qualifiers for Saturday using your best 3 consecutive laps.   Saturday qualifying started off a little slow for me.  After the dust had settled by the end of the day, I was sitting 12 overall in the electric 1/8 buggy class.  In the B main I was able to come out with a Win and take the 1 bump spot to the A final.  The A main started off like a freight train and I got a good start.  A little bobble in the infield section a few laps later after feeling some pressure, quickly dropped me back thru the field.  With time left on the clock I put my head down and tried to make up as many positions as possible.  With the super stiff competition in this one, I knew it would be tough.  By the end of the main I was in the 8 position, and that is where I would finish. Through it all my OFNA Hyper 9e was flawless and so fun to drive. Thanks to OFNA for making such awesome products!

Reported by DJ - Gaige Herrera a team driver for OFNA took his Hyper 10sc and drove to victory in the 4wd Pro sc class. Gaige started 2nd for the main with good runs, for the main though it was a tough start as he would roll it after couple of turns at the start of the race and be at the back of the field but managed to tear through the field to play catch-up with the leader. The leader also dealing with some tight traffic slowed his pace for Gaige to fall back in closing range. With time going down Gaige was making attack to get to the lead but had a couple of bobbles to open a little but traffic was still keeping him in the game as the leader was pushing but put it to the edge a little too much causing a bad roll over for Gaige to make the pass onto the straight with one lap to go and to take the win. Gaige got the killer win for the final night of the racing at OCRC" Outstanding"

Reported by D.J. Sandate - In his first race with the Hyper 9E Team driver James Grossaint headed out to Revelations Raceway. In the first round James would get a good run to take the TQ position. There was a 10 minute main and from start to finish James would hold the lead for the whole race and finished comfortably with the entire field a lap behind. James said he liked the new Hobao L-Block tires and Hobao black tire inserts.He also said the Castle Creation 2200kv motor and MMM speedo ran superb on his 4s batteries for the entire run for the main.
