Good luck on the o-rings.. I ordered a bag of 'em from tower but can't remember the part #. But they were HPI o-rings, came in a package of 12.. Get a mic and check'em.. Might have been 5x8mm??? Just make sure the ring and pinion are shimmed tight and you shouldn't have a problem with the standard diff internals. Be careful taking the diffs apart so you don't tear the gasket, they're pretty sturdy, but just in case.... I think Tower still has diff "pieces" in stock for the standard diffs. I know there's usually a crapload of "overstock" parts on e-bay all the time.
Post some pics foo!!! |

i would say that it wasn't a bad deal for a c-note shipped. it has a TT 21 pro that seems to have good comp and a hyper pipe that looks as to have never been ran. i'm going to tear it down this weekend and see what the diffs look like.
i know i'm not gonna run the 14mm hex's. should i go 17 or 23, i have a new set of crimefighters on 17mm imex wheels but the offset makes the truck wider than it is long.(anybody need a nice set of crime fighters) |

Back side of what?? The center diff IS an upgrade part... None of'em came with it...
Wait... I see it..... Are those locknuts on the front side of the spur gear?? Why would those be there?? I don't recall any type of "mod" or anything... |

| the locknuts are the same style as the stock front/rear diffs...you can see the difference between the stock/upgrade casings as well....good to see it has the rear brake installed as well...i love my doms..they dont handle as well as some of the newer stuff, but we still race them every now and then....they are bulletproof |

| the pro-line setup allows you to use 8 shocks instead of 4....handles better |
