|
|
ummm, i just got my ravager, I cant seen to find the low speed needle, The high speed is obviously sticking up, but the side of the carb is machined off with no screw.
there is a screw infront under the carb, but isn't that the idle?
The manual has no diagrams, no nothing for tuning the engine.
Ive had a few nitro cars in my time, this is the first engine like this Ive had with no side needle. Is it the one infront under the carb?
Its been a few years since I had one, so maybe I'm being a no0b |

I dont even know where to set the low speed needle, it turned like 15 turns in b4 it stopped...... who knows how far to back it out.
so i left it flush with the carb slider.
I haven't even attempted to start the engine yet, to break it in, just wanted to make sure the needles were set right first. |

Usually the Forces run pretty rich on the low end. It's needs to be at least flush if not a 1/2 - 1 in from flush (at least thats how my 26 is).... |

got it broke in and ready to go.
took it to the BMX track and broke the steering plastic servo after about an hour of abuse.
the slide carb is also stuck for some reason, ill check it out tonight sometime
other then that I'm happy with the speed and performance of the ravager.
I did get some video of me jumping it b4 it broke. Ill post it later. |
