| DJ or Anyone - Had a question just picked up an OS.18tz with pull start ( tower sent the wrong unit ) I see that the shaft if shorter and someother things was wondering if you could help me out by letting me know what parts i need to install this motor into the CRT.5. I looked around but didnt see anything just seen a few pix. Thx for the help in advance |

| if it's an Sg crank and needs to be longer then use part numbers 10410 or 10099 shim kits they would make your crank longer, Os engine that's some big power a wheel spinner then, you might want to think about having a .12 engine for racing because that .18 you might have to pedal the throttle to keep it under control on the track. |

| DJ- thx for the reply yah i was gonna use the .18tz for bashing around the yard. the motor that tower sent me was the wrong one. i ordered the slide carb and non-pull start but they sent me the pull start with rot. carb. they dont have the non pull in stock so they said they would send me the slide carb for free but like you said the shaft on it looks little short then the stock jammin .12 i have in it. thx ill look into those parts # |

| Ok peeps well i was a little drunk the other nite and ordered some shock for the rear on the CRT.5 but my dumba*** got the super big bore 16mm instead of the just the big bore guys! The other problem i already put them together!! Is there any way that i can still use these Super Big Bore Shock for the rear. What else besides the DM1 shocks work for the front. Cant seem to find the DM1's thx |

| you probably can but you would need to cut out the rear of the body and get longer shock standoffs 41010 and you would need to use the front shock to go on the rear of the .5 |

| DJ- Thx for the reply. Yah im using the Super Big Bore 16mm for the rear i cut about 5.5 off the springs and its not to bad. For the front shocks i see everyone doing the DM-1 shocks but cant seem to find a kit only parts. Do you know of any other shocks that would work good for the guy! thx for all your help!! |

| So I have a question? Tower is discontinuing most .5 parts is the CRT.5 going away or is a new one on the way? HOPE it is going to be aroud for a long time to come!!!!!! |

Hopefully everyone is still around.
Hello all! Just bought the CRT .5 from ebay for a great price, and a friend of mince got the RTR from AmainHobbies.
Cannot wait till we get it.
Anyone know any tire combination for on road use? |

| If towers dropping parts then what are some common things to stock up on? Last thing I wanna do is be stuck on trying to find replacement parts. |

Nope you can still get 'em
...and the little blue bumpbox is made for them. can be found
for about $40 US.
