I noticed the Kyosho ST-RR body on the Hyper ST... Super Nice!
Will that fit on the RTR truggy? I was checking out the back body part of the body where the shell is notched for the shock towers. I've been craving a new shell to customize without dropping $50+ on the Hyper clear shell. Any suggestion is appreciated. |

| the hyper with the kyosho body is mine and i have the pro version so thats why i have to cut for the shock towers but i would think that with the rtr it should work better cause of the body post in the shock towers plus it is wider so that it covers the pipe .............hope that helps |

I'm gonna try it for sure... I've always loved the Kyosho body on the ST-RR. What type of setup on your truggy. Shock oil, shock position on mounts, etc...
I talked with DJ from OFNA and he recommended that I use 40-50wt oil in the shocks, cause right now I'm slapp'n the crap off the base of the truggy on big jumps. Probably need to upgrade diff oils too...
Sweet ride dude!!! |

wanting ta know the part # or make of the one piece engine mount?
mud guards? need ta know if the hop up would bolt in the rtr.
BCE did great work. i bet it is a completly different machine on the track.

Henry,
That BCE Chassis conversion is looking real mean. How much longer is the chassis and are you using hub extenders? If so what size? Longer chassis, updated lightened braces, lighter drive train, and centered the motor, wow those guys at BCE really gave the Hyper a kick in the pants. I want one of those, but have a backup Pro Kit chassis so I'll have to due what's in the parts box. How much weight did it drop?
Not sure if you have seen my thread, the Hyper ST-E. I'm the one and only guy who races the Hyper ST here in NorCal. Hyper faithful and saving up for a Hyper9E. Can't wait!!! |

The mount is :
Dragon Racing CNC One Piece Aluminum Engine Mount for Mugen MBX-5 MBX-5R Buggy MBX-5T Truggy.
I found this one on Ebay .. http://cgi.ebay.nl/Mugen-MBX-6-mbx5-5T-CNC-1-Piece-Alum-Engine-Mount-blue_W0QQitemZ220450082808QQcmdZViewItemQQptZRadio_Control_Parts_Accessories?hash=item3353d94ff8&_trksid=p3286.m63.l1177&_trkparms=|293%3A1|294%3A50
And no , I dont have the extenders on it.
I Use the standard offset of AKA rims/tyres and I don't need them now.
It gives me enough steering , and don.t want more anyway .. then its to much, and I'm realy happy with it now.
And yes I've seen youre topic Hyper ST-E , it looks great .. but I'm not realy a fan of E versions , just give me the nitro engines
But !!! it looks great !!
The weight , I have to measure that ...
A friend has a standard PRO anayway , so were gonna weight it next week.
The mud guards , are not the ones you get when you order the BCE chassis.
The body doesnt realy get over the guards the ones you get from BCE.
I have de mud guards from a HONG NOR ( here it calls JAMMIN) the X2 PRO truggy.
So with this one , it's a better fit ... and it's more protect against dirt at the front.
Sorry about my english do ... but it's hard to typ .. it's easier to speak. |

Hi Henry
I think that one piece eng mount looks awsome.
Do you know if that fitted straight on to the ST ?
With out any modifications.
Thank you for your help |
