I just got my ravager and I am having trouble tuning it. It starts up and will idle but when i get on the throttle it stalhs out. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I am new to the nitro rc and really dont understand the needle's on the ravager 28 stock motor.

Follow the link, go to the Picco engines. www.ofna.com/guide-tune-basics.html. This is like your carb. Turn LSN (B on the page) in 1/4 of an turn. This will lean it some and it should run good enough to finish break in, if you haven't finish break in.

You have to tune it after your break in.

If you are just trying to break in the engine than you don't really need ot be on the throttle if you are using the idle method. If you are starting to run around on the ground then you will need to blip the throttle to keep the engine from loading up on un-spent fuel. When the engine is at idle, the combustion is not very efficient and unburnt fuel will collect at the bottom of the engine unless you blip the throttle every couple seconds to keep the throat clear.
