I'm trying to setup my car and it seems that the wheel play isn't helping on making accurate adjustments...How much of wheel play should an rc car have and how do we fix this??

Your gonna have some play no matter what with all cars. How much varys with the mfg but mostly with your luck.My CR came together w/minimal fuss & almost no binding & no slop.1/2 deg of toe & camber slop on a buggy w/no binding is unheard of & has worn into a little over a deg after about a gallon, still remarkable. Then came the CRT it had about 2.5-3 deg of toe slop & 2 deg of camber slop brand new.Swapping rod ends & bearings is about all you can do if you didn't shave too much plastic when building then shimming may help.If your using a set-up syst gently pull the wheels forward when setting thats where they'll be when your on the gas. Some like to start the turn on the brakes so the slop will be pulled back. The important part is always measure the same way & symmetricle.

I know what you mean and what i don't understand is how can they adjust the car when there is so much slop on the wheels.
I mean you can't go out and say i have 3degrees rear toe in.
It could be from 0 to 3 yes but not three.
And it's not only the slop on the wheels it's also the slop on the arms at the joint with the cases...!??!!??!!??

I recomend pulling the tire forward, as it would on its own, on power.
