Yeah that does seem like a shame. We are getting more and more internationals here asking for advice and parts, yet there is no way for them to get the parts we suggest to them.

I don't know anything about international shipping, but is their no reliable way to guarantee shipping and payment for shipments outside the US?

the only reliable way is to ship by courier service(fedex)...one way to guarantee payment on duty fees is to make shipping COD...the only problem with couriers compaired to postal services, is they are expensive

Well I guess if you really want it bad enough, then the extra shipping charge for a courier would not be an issue.....

THe big problem is that internatinal consumers (like me, from canada) aren't interested in buying where they will ship UPS because their duty fee is simply stupid...

with normal postal service (USPS), I'll pay 5$ + taxes for an item...with UPS, it will be like 40$ + taxes...not really interesting

How much of a pain is it to sent it USPS?? Is there lots of paper work to be done in the US. I prefer the mail as they charge $5.00 for brokage and then add the government stupid tax on the total of the sale after they convert the amount to Canadian funds. It's way better then UPS, as they have a minium brokage fee of $25.00 plus handling charges

Its not a pain at all to ship USPS. In fact, Nitrohouse is the only online shop that does not offer USPS shipping to Canada. Amain serves me just fine in this regard. Nitrohouse obviously is not worried about the lost opportunity in Canada, so why should we worry about talking about it on a thread, just buy from Amain or Acehardware, they both offer USPS Global Priority which is awesome and quick, with tracking.

I've gone thru a lot of transaction from the usa (as buyer or seller and never had any problem in more than 30 occasions with USPS. Yes, shipping takes longer (approx 2weeks) but never got a lost parcel

Same here with well over 100 shipments and nothing went wrong, knock on wood!!!
It does take 2-3weeks but i DON"T CARE as long as i get them cheaper than the LHS then i'll be a US/HK customer!!!!!!!
And most of the times there are no taxes or duties at the post office for small packages!!
