Hi everyone :) I just got my self a brand New picco JL .28 #OFN52205 i also bought dynamite 086 Hi-speed pipe.

This is my first engine that is not Stock. My plan is to run this engine on following: O'donell 30% nitro & O'donell 099 Cold plugs. Would This engine like that? Ennyone here drive JL .28 With this fuel/Glowplug setup?

So gentlemen, what do you suggest?

Regards Prulle

The 52205 is a Force JL .28 engine.
It is set-up for 20-25% nitro. For a higher nitro content you may have to increase the head clearence. You may be able to use the 99 plug. In theory the higher the nitro content, the colder the plug.
I would recomend to try the cold plug, if the isle is dirty, loads up and throttle response is lacking move up to a medium plug.

HI. Thank you David S. You are correct its a Force engine, ive change my mind about the fuel and will rather go for Byron 25% Nitro With 11% oil. My LHS have Mcoy & O'Donell plugs.

Can i use trx 3.3 one way bearing or do i also have to bay one for the force?

Im very excited and i Wonder if its alot stronger than TRX 3.3 engine!!

Thanks again :)

Sorry I do not know if the traxxas one will work. Generally the Force one-way bearings are very good. This engine uses part# 52093 one-way bearing that is used on all the Force engines.
