Hello to the OFNA community! I'm also a member of the Kfx450hq forum and enjoy that site a lot. I hope my experience here will be as enjoyable!

I own an OFNA Ultra Lx 1, i've had the buggy for about 3 years now (bought used for $275) and recently pulled it out of storage from being boxed up in the middle of a face lift when i bought my 2008 Kfx 450r.

I raced it for one season back in 2010 when i first bought it and at the end of the season, i started a facelift/upgrade of parts and such. As of now, it has a custom painted Ultra Comp body, that i trimmed to fit, i like the lines of this body better vs the LX1 body. NEW (just broke in) Force .28 motor, waiting for my black CNC KINGHEADZ cooling head to arrive. I took the pull start off, slapped a back cover on it and got a starter box (really like the starter box!!!) Lol. I've also upgraded to HITECH ultra torque servos, rechargeable receiver hump pack, aluminum servo horns, Spektrum DS3E Radio system, Jammin J-P2 exhaust, vented 13t clutch bell, Xtremercracing carbon fiber center differential top plate, servo saver brace and servo tray, blue VP-PRO capped wheel nuts and AKA wheels with CITYBLOCK tires. I'll be doing carbon fiber shock towers, PCR chassis braces and INTEGY CNC steering knuckles next (knuckles on the way also).

I'll try to post some pics as i become more familiar with this site and how everything works.

I've been trying to post a few pics of it, but can't seem to get it to work!!!

This site is a little different from the Kfx450hq forum.

I got the INTEGY CNC steering knuckles installed today, they look great and should hold up better than the original cast knuckles. The PCR rear chassis braces will be next.

I also found some CNC aluminum front and rear arm holders on KINGHEADZ.com today, direct replacements for the factory plastic ones. I added those to the list of mods as well.

Here's the links to the front and rear arm holders for those who are interested. They look nice!

Well, i got the KINGHEADZ front and rear arm holders, Xtremercracing carbon fiber front shock tower and PCR rear chassis brace/stiffener on the way. I'll have the Xtremercracing carbon fiber rear shock tower and carbon fiber brake disks on order in a couple weeks. The build i started almost 3 years ago is starting to come together finally!

Oh, i also made a one off splash guard out of clear lexan and super glued it to the side off the fuel tank, it looks good!

So, Ofna has discontinued the PCR rear chassis brace/stiffener kit for the LX1. My money was refunded by Nitrohouse today.

I'll be posting a thread in the General Discussion room asking if any body has one or where i can still find one.

Well, i gave up on the PCR rear brace and bought an LX2 rear brace for it. After drilling and countersinking one hole for the forward mount in the LX1 chassis and trimming the mounting points on the box for the old rear brace, the LX2 rear brace looks right at home on the LX1 chassis. I also lowered the receiver box by trimming about a 1/4in off the top and trimming the access off the bottom of the mounting points of the receiver box.

I also got the Kingheadz front and rear aluminum arm holders installed, they look great! But, the only thing i don't like about the front arm holder is that it's not notched where the bumper goes. I'm still deciding on whether or not i should use my dremel tool to notch it so i can have a bumper or just go without it???

Only things left for this build are the Xtremercracing carbon fiber front and rear shock towers (which should be installed next week) and some new Ofna wheels with Triad tires (shelf queen shoes) Lol!
