I bought a used force 32. Only way to get it to start is with the main needle ( hsn ) all the way out, like 6 1/2 turns out. LSP flush with ball end. Fresh filter and fuel. Engine will not idle. Replaced all fuel lines, so no leaks. Checked fuel tank for leaks, found none. Correct glow plug. This engine gets hot fast like it's running extremely lean. I even switched carbs off my hpi ( tuned ). Same thing happened had to adjust hsn out just to get it to sputter, again would not idle. Need help please. Thanks, Nick. For got it has a Jammin JP4 pipe if it matters.

Hi Nick,

Check the compression. If the compression is low the engine may not idle or not tune properly.
If the compression is good try with a new glow plug, adjust the low speed flush to 1/2 turn out from flush, for idle adjust your air gap at the carb slide to 1/16. Also adjust the high speed needle to 3 turns out from closed. Start with this baseline and adjust from there.

Will do. How do I check the compression? Idle gap at 1 - 1.5mm. I have a medium and a hot glow plug. Which do I start with? Thanks, Nick.

Try the hot first. Baseline settings are rich.
