My connecting rod broke on my farily new force .28 engine could someone let me know what could have caused this. Thanks

Hard to say but these are some causes.

Over revved. High speed sustaind for a long period of time. (not a short bursts)

Lean low speed or high speed needles can prematurely wear out parts (not enough oiling)

Dirty air filter.

What direction does the connecting rod face? Also can the G-Clips be found at lowes or home depot?
