Hi Guys,

I've recently picked up a couple of second hand colt nitro cars, from searching they both appear to have Force engines, .15s if I'm correct. I've included a couple of pics below so hopefully someone more familiar can help identify.

I've been playing for hours and hours and managed to get one going, but splutters, stalls, sometimes doesn't idle etc, does anyone have the standard needle settings for one of these engines?

Any help greatly appreciated!
Nick.

Make sure the compression is good with the engine.

Most Force engines start with 3 to 3-1/2 turns out from closed. There is only 1 mixture screw, and the idle screw. Make sure you have a very small air gap at the carb venturi. This should be rich, so tune in from there.

Hope this helps.
