It has a Tekin RX8 and i put a Viper 5.5 3700 kv 550. The truck has a 46 tooth spur and 2 cell. I tried a 13 and top speed is about 20mph i went up to a 17 and its about 25mph but seems to build heat in the motor faster. Havent ran it long enough to see what temps its getting to. In 5 mins of run time in the street its 120 Deg. So what way should i go with this. Back to top Author Message David S. On mine the Novak 4.5 motor temp after 5 min is 110 and the esc is 165. You can consult with Tekin and see what they recomend as a max temp for their esc.
