How's it going guys?
I just picked up a ofna buggy the other day for 150$
came with 6 sets of tires.
a 2spd tranny
2 complete sets of front and rear a arms and knuckles.
*he wrecked it once and had to wait for parts so started stocking up* haha
numerous numerous parts in it.

bad part. it wasnt ran in 2 years.
he did take care of it thats for sure. always used after run oil.
but as ya'll know, if you let nitro engines sit they gunk up and are a pain to do anything with it.

So i pulled the engine apart and completely down. washed all parts.
one way bearing was the biggest pain but everything works great now.
pull starter cord broke and i've restrang it 3 x now. apparently 2 knots wasnt enough haha.

anyway got it all done and ran it once and its a friggin blast.
This is my first 1/8 scale buggy.

i have
1/10 RC10 GT team associated x2
1/10 tamiya TGS xbg with every hop up part known to man * first nitro *
1/10 HPI rs4 enough upgrades haha

figured i needed a buggy... and figured only way to have one was go 1/8 scale.

So just wanted to say hi and im sure ill have questions soon.
i still need to figure out if its a MBX or LX 1 cause i have manuals for both.
its a great buggy and a blast so far.
going back out to redo the pullstart one more time before i go buy a starter box :)

yeah.. i have been thinking about it.
What sucks TOTALLY is i lost my job after purchasing this buggy
but not looking back. i just take it for what its worth.
ive never sold any nitro rc car i own.
i have 15 overall. nitro and electric but nitro's are what im most intrested in.

however! i have been wanting a starter box...
i was gonna buy a used one but couldnt justify paying 30$ on ebay then paying 20-30$ for shipping when the hobby store in my town has a Ofna Starter box at 70$ brand new. retail says 130.. but yeah.
so i may wait and just unit with the pullstarter a wee bit longer.
im ordering one tonight or tommorow morning. im taking it that it comes with it wound up with coil and string already. so i can just pop it in.
i did look at some of the back plates that use the starting shaft but thats almost as much money when u add it all up to a starter box.
So im gonna mess with the new pull start and sooner or later get a starter box.

I did run it for about 5 minutes one day and it was a friggin blast.

I will post pictures up tommorow once the engine is pulled agian cause im still unsure of Lx or MBX
