That manual was hard to find on a uk forum so figured I'd post it
The fuel settings are off though it still say 4.5 turns out for the hsn, even on break in my Mac would start until 3.5 |

| Same happen with the hypers .21 the papers in the engine came with a setting and then you look in here and there is different story, WTF. I never use those settings I just let the needles alone if the engine is new and adjust as need it or just put the needles flush with the housing on used engines and adjust as need it, once you know how this engines work you dont need the "factory settings" bottom line is your needles always end up different after tune. Thanks to post the link should be a sticky around here. |

Yea someone should sticky the link but also include the macstar tips and real fuel settings.
If you look around this forum there are lots of questions and help needed with the macstar .28 and being it's on the new 7 black edition and mutilator it should be a more popular engine.I personally like it alot.the mid range is where she shines the most but I found the complete rpm range to be strong
Due to the price I just scored a is vg30 to take the macs place but I'm still gonna run the Mac until it dies,I'll run it hard to prove it's toughness.I'll post carnage pics if I ssnap a rod |

my uncle had a new vg30 he bought friday so I offered him $200 for it,He has more motors than a freakn hobby shop
He told me to come over and get it so I drove 30 miles to get there, played with my pbs for awhile and he just said I think im gonna hang onto my engine for now.....wtf?I even offered full price but he refused
he offered a xtm 24.7 and an axial .32,both new but I was mad so I turned them down
I think ima put my money on the Ofna Hyper10sc nitro instead.I miss smallblocks |
