| hey motion, the center diff lift kit is not lifting the center diff enough... the teeth on the spur gear are hitting on the chassis cut-out for the spur gear. it is also not allowing the motor to be bolted in due to lack of clutch bell-to-spur gear clearance. once it gets lifted more im sure it will work out. any suggestions? |

Hmmm... I bet you have the updated trans mounts.. If so you'll need the "updated" trans lift kit.
Post a pic of the trans top plate are you using. LMK ASAP |

Upon further review, it appears my batch of collars are short.. Give me a few hours and I'll have a solution for ya. BTW, are you using the aluminum trans mounts? |

| No I did not use the aluminum diff mounts. But they did send me the updated trans mounts instead of the old version. I am using the updated diff plate. I picked up some longer aluminum spacers to replace the shorter spacers that were supplied in the kit you sent me. I will see how they work out. |

| hey motion, Any tips on getting the spur to stop "jumping? when the set screw for the spur hub "the spool" is tightened down completely, it makes the spur have a high spot which makes setting the spur to clutch mesh difficult. |

I suspect the problem is more likely the molded SG, they typically have high spots.
FWIW. I have a preassembled mainshaft, hub, w/ spur gear (all new) thats currently in my MB GTX chassis (not yet completed). I'll only need to remove my flat drive cups and bearings if your up for an exchange. |
