We used the rear hubs from the Hyper ST truggy (I believe they are from Hyper 7), and scrapes from the Kyosho MP9. Worked fine.
I honestly don't understand why there arent even any mounts for scrapes on the Hyper 9 rear hubs... |

No.
They are more narrow (needs one more spacer on the hinge pin), and they don't have the heigth adjustment for the hinge pin.
But besides from that, the geometry is "identical". They also have a cover, protecting the universal joint to some extent. |
