Does the lightweight spur spins faster than steel spur gear?

the lightweight should allow the drivetrain to spool up faster than the standard steel. The lightest comes standard with the scrt10 but it is not steel.

I agree. My SCRT10 runs right with the electric 1/8 scale buggys and truggys. i get to speed off corner quicker. Last weekend i ran with a SC8 and he did get me a little off corner but at the end of the strightaway i'm on his bumper. LOVE this truck!
