| will there be an crt.5 to scrt conversioin kit the 1/12 scale class never took hold here but sc class is booming and with the slash 4x4 coming i would like to convert my crt to scrt thanks for any help[/b] |

| I don't think there will be a conversion to change over, I have not heard of one yet, the Pro kits will be out first then RTR's later. |

The SCRT chassis is longer by about 3.5 inches.
I just bought and parted a CRT .5 pro. Here are the benefits
You get EXTRA pins, arms, f & R diffs, outdrives that are the CV kind not dogbones.
You get the aluminum shock towers.
What you don't need, the 2 chassis the crt .5 comes with
The tires
the wing
the engine accessories
the crt .5 body posts.
the front bumper
The drive shafts
the 2 chassis in the kid
So, what was I left with
2 fully built out ends of the car. The center diff uprights (a good diff, not sure about hte gear
Bearings for the whole car, steering cranks, server savers (and inserts).
Basically with just a few parts I could build a second scrt 10.
You can find the 0.5 crt for sale for less than 120 bux if you dig. I think its WELL worth it as a parts car.
