Keep in mind the black coating on the axles and drives are there to help with keeping them from rusting . I don't mind the maintenance to keep them up. If you do ;don't polish them leave them black. Polished the out-drives as well. Still have a little more to do. Then take it to the track and, dial it in ;along with the motor. Still have to play with diff oils and, shock oil/springs. etc........
