|
|
Just finished this afternoon, Happy to report this is a well built buggy and engineering is excellent. I torn it down completely to change diff viscositys to 5K/F-5K/C-3K/R and checked all the hardware. It was all tight and loctite was used everywhere. They did a great job at the factory.
Set up is as follows; NEU 1515-1Y & M.M.M. geared 40/13,weight is 7.5lbs w/4000mah 4s and body,JR DS8711,Spektrum. Anxious to see how it performs with these 17mm bore shocks ?

I will be running at them all,B&B is probably our fanvorite place though.
Between the weather and waiting for my lazy buddy to finish getting his 8ight finished I have yet to run in on the track, only some testing in front of the house. I don't want to bash it,it deserves to be drivin' on the clay.
Where you at, do you bash at all ? Theres a killer spot over here in
St Pete with 30' hills and knarly terrain for the Electric MT's. A bunch of us are going Monday, your welcome to join us. |

Do you club race at B&B or just practicing ??
My buddy whom has the 8ight, we are hoping to get enough practice in to hopefully club race next year. Our scheduals are so tight it'll be iffy ?
We have the bugggys for the track only but we have Electric conversions of truggys and LST2's for bashing. We enjoy beating the crap out of the trucks with mega jumps and recklessness. Nothing like getting 20-30' of air under the trucks ! |

Shield attached via clear 2-sided tape, plenty strong as last pic shows.

Besides NitroHouse, Just curious for a comparison to see if I might be over looking something.
