|
|
My buggy cuts out after about 1/2 tank of fuel. I have replaced the fuel tank with a new one and all the fuel lines. I even clamped the fuel line at the fuel inlets. I checked all the screws on the engine for tightness and they all seem tight. It appears to stop feeding gas to the carb when the tank is about half full. It runs great up until that time..
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated... |

| Could be any number of things including a worn out engine. Change fuel lines, check manifold gasket(s), check clutch bearings .... |

Could it be possible that the rubber/silcone tube that joins the header and pipe not be sealed good enough causing the lack of pressure back into the tank? I have zip ties on each end, but the pipe still can move fairly freely when turned by hand.
Let me add that I bought this buggy used and it has an aftermarket pipe on it.. |

| I have had the same problem. When I run it by me kinda close I think I can hear air. The rubber thing is fine and if I try to restart it it won't do it. And I have to prime it again. then it still doesn't start. Now starting to day if I give it full throttle it just boggs down and dies. (yes it is warmed up) Clutch is fine too. I don't know what to do |

| Let me add that it doesn't like to idle and it spits fuel out the exhaust. |
