Replacment parts for that buggy should be pretty easy...

2 things to keep in mind...

The Violator is 9.5 buggy based and consult the manual when cross referencing part numbers.

Manuals with parts numbers are here:
http://www.ofna.com/manuals.html

The Violator, Ravager, Mutilator, and Ofna Picco are all 9.5 based RC's so nearly all the parts interchange since the main differences in them is front and rear suspensions.

All of these are 9.5 based Buggies/Truggies

Between them all you should be able to find any part that you need. And if all else fails try www.nitrohouse.com for all parts Ofna.

BTW FWIW If your looking at that type of buggy, i'd get the Ofna Picco one instead of the Violator. It's basicly the same buggy with a better suspension / knuckle style thats less likely to break.

first of all i'd like you double !!
you're the same man who helped me nearly 7 months ago when i was
looking for 1/8 tires/wheels combo... that time you advised me with panthre's chameleon & gecko i thanked that day and i'm happy to thank
you again :)

i just forget my user name so i logged with a new user name.

those are good news :) so that's mean it's o.k to buy an ofna truck
while i'm sure that tower got it's replacement parts.

if you may please continue helping me out here :
the reason i chooses the violator because it got an electric start
as i'm used to used electric starts with my traxxas Jato..

so you advised me with other truck ? but is it comes with electric start ?
i really hate the pull start :(

let me what is the best, i'll get back always here, this is very important
to me know what replacement parts should i get if i bought that 9.5 violator.

excuse & forgive me at the same time .. i'm going to ask many q's and my
english language is not that good :)

Thanks again and always

sorry forgive me, it was miss typo here i meant buggys :)
i used to describe my rc car with " truck " word because i got a Jato
truck.

Thanks for offering the help :)

i sent an email to Nitro house asking if it's possible get my items
shipped via ups international as it's the only secure method that i guaranty
that my items will get here.

so which RTR ofna buggy with electric start do you advise me with ?
i'm focusing on the violator 9.5 KB ... it got a stronger engine with electric start ( correct me if i'm wrong )

yeh.. i remember, this is another important question i should know
what is the dangerous engines temp for ofnas engines in general ?

i'm using moded fuel here in the summer to keep my engines a live :(
Thanks :)

From what i've heard, the Ofna electric starters are pretty underpowered for the size of engines that they are starting (26, 28, and 32's). So I can't really recommend one.

A Starter box is gonna be the best option and it can be used on multiple models of cars.

If your set on a power starter get the Violator but watch the front knuckles, they are the weak part of the buggy. The kingpin front suspension on the Violator is known for breakage.

But don't fret, it can be swapped out with the PBS or the C-hub suspension of other 9.5 series buggies pretty easy.

Thats what I have (still have)

Right it's not a true electric start. It's a shaft starter, but it does work very well. I ran more than a few races using the shaft starter on my jammin until i finally got a starter box.

Downs?
The Jammin it's self really doesn't have many that I can think of although the RTR trim needs upgraded as you go to stronger parts just like any RTR. Most notably get rid of the plastic chassis braces and get the CNC ones.
the Force engines are not great but with love and care can be pretty good, i've had over 2 years of use out of the 2 i have.

Up's?
It's newer than the 9.5 series
It can be upgraded to the Jammin X2 configuration ( i have not done this myself) For a whiel Nitrohouse was selling complete upgrade kits to turn a X1 into an X2
Lots of setup tips on the net for the Jammin Series vs what you would find for the 9.5's.
Shares a lot of the same parts as the Jammin CRT truggy so finding parts is pretty easy world wide. The world wide name is Hong Nor X1/X2 Only in the America's is it called a Jammin.

i'm sure there are more but thats all i can think of right now.

that's appreciated man :) lots of info & this what's going to guide
me what to get.

o.k Paradoxmaker i'll post my q's in a simple list to make it easy
for me to collect info because i think that i'm going to end up
with 9.5 violator as the terrain here either asphalt or sand dunes so
this could be somehow sweet for it's ""bad front suspension"" :

1-(among other ofna RTR buggys) the violator engine is the strongest Y/N
2-what's is the danger temp that it's engine shouldn't reach ?
3- does it accepts to be start ( cranked ) by a starter box w/o modifications ?

these 3 simple questions for now ... i really feel so embarrassed from you.
Thanks.

DESERT, PLZ PLZ PLZ don't buy the Violator, if you have a hard time buying parts as it is, you will be screwed because it breaks easily and is not all aorund durable. Once again this is only my opinion. Follow moy posts around this forums about the Violator I bought. I was not happy with iot to say the least... just trying to help here is all.
