Hey

If anyone is wondering, Josh Pain is at the Worlds Warm up race with the Hyper 9.

He is going pretty good, got the car set up well. Unfortunately his tires are stuck in customs in Thailand at the moment. He is currently running the complete wrong tire which one that track will loose you buckets of time. Was quicker earlier in the event, but track changes have meant tires have hurt him.

He qualified 17th overall. Hoping to get the tires in time for his semi final, so should be on pace for a finals place fingers crossed.

Josh managed to finish the main final in 8th position, at a track where even finishing was a feat - many dropped out over the one hour race!

We had the honour of having Jared Tebo race at out (West Australian) state titles last weekend, thanks to Ryper Hobbies.

Josh's buggy looked good in the 45 minute main final. No shame in losing to Tebo!

This past weekend was the first stop on the Northwest Championship Tour in Wenatchee, Washington USA. The ONLY Hyper 9 at the track took the TQ! A failed throttle servo during the main event kept me off the podium.

This past weekend I travelled about an hour and a half to Selah RC Raceway. It's O'Donnell country there with 3 O'Donnell sponsored drivers. None of them were even close to the Hyper9 2.0 even on there own track. I tq'ed and won easily.

On a side note: This was the first track were the type B rear tower and arms were better for me. The car was more planted in the back, and rotated much better with them on vs. the type A. The track was loose dirt and bumpy. I actually went back to back quals with type A to type B and I was almost a full second a lap faster with the type B.
