Radio Rally Clubs' annual 5 hour Handicap 'Enduro' held last weekend. 12 teams of 5 drivers (3 buggy & 2 truggy per team), each driver does 2 x half hour stints.
Of the three podium teams, 6 of the 9 buggys were Hyper 9's (and 2 of the 6 truggys were ST's). |

Good job , you'll get that win soon and when you do I need a pic of you and your car and a story of your race and I'll post it on our site and talk about it on our race reports on Ofnalive.

Not only is the Hyper 9 a good buggy to race, its good for towing caravans too! Our club put on a display meeting this weekend as part of the crowd entertainmaint for the citys christmas parade. For something different, we decided to hold a caravan race first up. 13 competitors built something to tow in the 15 minute race (or last man standing). The invincible Hyper 9 towing a Hyper 24 Caravan took out the honours - the only one still on its wheels at the end of the 15 minutes!!
(Its named a Hyper 24 Caravan, as it used front lower arms of a Hyper 9, rear upper links of my old Hyper 8, and rear upper links of my old Hyper 7)
There's a short and crappy res video of the start of the race here - http://rides.webshots.com/video/3017417440104308356ZhlhzH?vhost=rides

| I just purchased the 2.0 Hyper 9 in February. I have the GL chassis I guess. Not sure what difference it makes as I know that OFNA really stays on top of updating the chassis as it sees fit which on OFNAS behalf is impressive. The other brands really make you pay extra as they update but OFNA will just start throwing the updates in at no extra cost really. I really think that is a statement about OFNA. Anyways I have raced the buggy twice since new in the past 2 months. First race I TQ'd and placed 2nd. Yesterday I TQ'd and placed 1st. I have always done well with my Hyper 8, 8.5 and Jammin X1CR, but never this good. I immediately went from podium if I was lucky to finishing at the top the first 2 times out with the H9. By the way I am in Daytona Florida racing. Thank you OFNA for making me look so good! I really can't take the credit for the sudden great finishes due to the only change that I made was racing the H9. |

Josh Pain, West Australian State Champion for 2011 with his Hyper Star.
A closely fought 45 minute main final, with Matt Griffin & Josh Taylor (both Mugen) snapping at his heels the whole race. At the end, only 13 seconds separated the top 3.
