Looks good, parts are very well priced (about the same price of the JQ stuff here in the UK).
Let us know how they hold up.

Same here...I was all about the overall weight loss at first, and then started weighing each item, but after the chassis was already cut...
Someone else??

I have a 2+2 chassis, I'm stripping it at the moment. I'll let you know in a few hours when its all apart.
Rob/Beuz, what are the weights of your cars. I'm at 7lbs 16oz. So far I've done the following:
-JQ parts
-Cut centres out of wishbones
-Drilled chassis braces
-Drilled ackerman arms
-Kortz upper arm mod
-Radio plate trimmed
-Shortened screws (aluminium wont last long on the tracks I race at)
-Steering servo holder trimmed
I'm yet to cut the rear of the chassis, use Ti Hingpins or use Lipo. I will be swapping to a smaller battery, as I'm using a 5aa sized battery. |

Mine is just over 7lbs 2oz...It required alot of work, and alot of LW parts. I (thanks to Ofna) have most everything that is available on my buggy to take the weight out.
I am in the process of putting some weight back onto the buggy. I've been struggling with the rear end being on the sketchy side. I'm going to go back to the upper a arm front end, and start using the CNC rear uprights again. This will put a couple of onces back on the buggy, but I feel it will benefit the overall performance of the buggy...
The 5-cell AA battery pack is very heavy. You will loose alot of weight by switching to either a LiPo setup, or even just using the 1700mAh standard reciever battery...
Hope this helps...

Mine is not yet finished so i can't give an accurate weight
It should be around 7lbs 4oz
Regarding the receiver pack
I use Lipo Battery without regulator ( LRP 2 cells 1.8 oz ) , my Orion pack weighs 4.4oz
RobB
Why are you going back to the upper a arm front end ?
Thanks
