We've been hearing alot of Hyper racers doing very well, and it was mentioned to me to make a thread for it, so here it is...
If you podium with your Hyper buggy, then please post it here for us all to see...

there were 2-4th place finishes, 1-5th that I took out because it wasnt podium, but almost.... 
Heading out to Region 10 championship in a few weeks and another Rat Series race tomorrow night under the lights. edit the post if I get some more.

Thanx guys, been putting in work this year. Stiff comp out here. Had some problems the last few races but not the car, servos (futaba S9451 throttle/brake) stripped a plastic gear. Broken servo horn steering, and a flame out in the last 2 min of race. Still coming up with some good finishes. I'm glad I have the Hyper8.5, only the super big bores are really in my sights.
Qualified 3rd for the first night race of the year for Rat (first for me), broke a servo horn in warm up, got a janky one in before the gate dropped (automatic gate if you haven’t seen it, you must) but it was short so my steering was limited. it popped off about 12min in, fell from 3rd to 5th.
I've hit 11 or so races this year. 9 A-Mains, top 5. 1-TQ and bunch of podiums. I gotta say the Hyper8.5 has really come through for me this year. |

good deal dude!!!! I went yesterday to the Sat evening race but I was cancel againg because of the rain but, some of us waited for the clay to dry out some and had a late evening practice... darn Georgia weather...  |
