Hi guys I'm new to the nitro car scene and forums

At first I got the hyper st rtr it's been running fine

Now the glow plug doesn't last 2 mins burns out straight away

Now I bought new ones from modelsport and have fitted one but I won't start properly

In the end I got it started now I have the problem I think the head gasket has gone on the engine because it will start (not easily) but I have no control over the throttle and it is just spraying fuel out from under the cylinder head :/ I have no idea what to do I'm going to strip the engine down and have a look.

Do I need a new engine, if so what do I buy? Thanks

The mac 28 on the st is a troublesome engine.

Suggest to change the engine to avoid further headache.

I have already change mine.

Thanks

Ok thank you, I took it all apart and cleaning it all rebuilt it and it ran to. The point I could tune it then it won't run now :/

What's the best engine to drop right in with a pullstart and with out changing anything else. Cheers

engine is to lean on bottom end. Turn the low end screw out about one
and one half turns and adjust the top screw in about one half turn and see how that runs.

You can consider the folllowing engine

Jammins 28
Picco 28
Thunder tiger pro 28

All are with pull start option.

For non pull start, more engine will be in the list

Thanks
