I just got a used lx and the steering isn't working well... Tried: new batteries, servo...still slow . Off the ground it is fast, on the ground barely moves.. So far it seems that if only left tire connected it turns left easy, right hard....just the opposite if the right tire is only connected. together it barely moves [on the ground]. Some thing bent? I did notice some marks where the c-hub was rubbing the steering stop on the A arm. It seems to bind, but the servo saver + servo works fine when not attached to the wheels..?

Check the steering linkage and make sure you do not have a bind anywhere. The standard RTR servos will be very slow to move the steering while on the ground and the model not moving. When the model is moving the model should steer properly. An upgrade most people do with the RTR models is to upgrade the battery to a "hump pack" style rechargeable battery, and upgrade the servo to one that has about 160 in/oz of torque or more.
