I was going through my extra H8/H8.5 parts last night and I noticed that there are two different versions of the ackerman plate (not counting the adjustable one). The older style plate is longer and allows the steering links to be moved farther back. My question is, what difference is the length of the plate going to play on how the car turns? I realize that the length will probably play on the bumpsteer, but I'm more curious on which plate is going to steer more aggressive.
Thanks, Andy |

| The short akerman will give you more steer, you can use the short one for hi grip or technicals tracks. The long one is more for bigger tracks. Bottom line is you used the one that suit your driving style. Hope this help. |

| Thanks, I'm going to try the short one tonight and see if I like it better or not....I'm always looking for more steering on my late model :) |
