| Hi there, I am new to this forum. I want to convert a hyper 7 TQ Sport Black Edition to brushless, are the diff gears steel? And how many teeth is the stock spur gear? I will be using 2x 2s 3200MiA 20c in series, a MM V3 Speedo and a BSD 2230Kv motor. The reason I am asking about the gears is because I had the BSD Land Ripper 1/8 scale buggy and when I put the mamba monster speedo over the stock hobby wing 80a speedo, the gears litrally shredded over only a few weeks. Basically I am asking is the Hyper 7 worth converting, are the gears high quality steel and is it an overall durable buggy? Otherwise I was thinking about the Hyper 9e but its well out of my price range at the momant haha, any advise would be great! Kind regards |

Yes as David said the Hyper 7 is a very strong buggy
Latest update
I installed a 2,4Ghz radio
the receiver is in a Traxxas receiver box with a switch
2 x 7,2v NiMh and a 2350Kv 3675XL bl motor delivers
the power to the wheels
It's geared for 35-40 Mph on dirt
