i have a .21 picco max engine in my tmaxx and cant get it to idle right. it idles fine until the engine gets warm, but then the idle gets really high and jumpy. the slide is working fine and the idle is going up even though the slide is open very slightly. i have resealed the carb a few times, but nothing seems to fix this problem. if anyone has experienced this problem and can help me with a fix i would greatly appreciate it. i dont really want to put the 2.5 back in it. thanks!

Adjust the air gap in the carb at about .5 to 1 mm, once the idle gap is set NO need to touch it anymore. Turn the engine on once the engine start to get in temp and you here the idle goes up rich the LSN one hr at a time till you have a steady Idle. Once you have a steady Idle you can start tunin the HSN. Remember if you rich the HSN you need to lean the LSN to keep your idle stable accordingly. Don't forget that the fuel pass by the HSN firdt then LSN thats is why you need to adjust both if need it. Hope this help. BTW. ALways keep a blue stream of smoke.
