HI guys.
I got my new picco .26 red dot the other day and this is the first engine I've ever broken in so a little nervous I am. Don't want to do any damage.
I took all the bits from the 3.3 and the picco is fitted. I put the pull start on it first but with no joy getting it to start I put the EZ start back on.
Eventually it fired up so I was trying to get it to a basic tune so I could burn off a tank of fuel, just ticking over as per instructions. I began messing with the needles and went all over the place with them breifly. So I tried to take the needles back to factory. I'm having a problem though with the low-speed needle. ofna/picco state 'between 10.5 and 11.5 turns out. But the following video is with the low-speed out at just 5.5 turns!! And the idle is all over the place!
Sorry about the quality.
That doesn't look right does it? What am I doing wrong?
Please help as this engine cost me a fortune and i don't want to **** it up.

Try
Lsn: 2 turns out from flush of the ball end
Hsn: 2-1/2 to 3 turns out from closed
air gap: approx 1mm (idle)
These are baseline settings and will vary depending on region, fuel, etc.
Hope this helps |
