I noticed when I got another set of shocks in from special-rc that the lower part of the shock body where the oring and spacers go was different than what came stock with my Hyper 9E purchased from amainhobbies.
The amainhobbies one didn't allow for the larger black spacer in there, just two of the white ones and the body itself was tapered at the end there. This may have been part of the reason why off of a hard jump I tweaked the body internal via the shock shaft moving.
The new shock body I got in uses a larger black spacer, which will most likely give it more support. Others I have spoken with on RC Tech have the newer (in my opinion) shock body. So just an FYI to everyone else. |
