|
|
When Ive ran my buggy for a while, and stop it to re-fuel.. I crank the pull start but it doesn't recoil back in...
Ive noticed that when i loosen the 4 screws on the pullstart, it then recoils back... Surly i shouldn't have to loosen the screws as far as i am...
I thought it was the pullstart so i replaced it with a new one i had, and the same problem is there....
Anyone had this problem or know the solution... |

You want to use red locktite on the screws that hold the pullstart housing onto the crankcase, and loosely tighten them. The pullstart case is plastic, and can crush if you "torque" the screws down too much. So tighten the screws down as much as you can, but still allow the string cup to rotate in the housing.
Hope this helps...
