Hi!
I've been reading this forum since I bought my ravager back in july.
So here's a little presentation of my ravager and myself.
I'm from Montreal's south shore (Canada,Quebec) and I'm a newbie in RCs.
But I know mechanics, I've been tuning my real cars for years by myself.
And I also know electronics (graduated in industrial electronics, specialized in instrumentation, control and automation.)
So playing with my buggy and fixing it don't scares me.
I've already made some mods to it:
- GRP Gandini rally tires GMX01C (for my street setup)
- OFNA micro fail safe on the throttle
- Dynamite big daddy fuel filter (blue)
- Team Associated doubled air filter
- Dynamite machined 1/2 aluminium servo arm (blue, for the steering)
- Hitec HS-645MG ultra torque servo (steering)
- Microtemp MT002 temp. gun
Here's some pics with my street tires.
Let me know what you think about it!
Brand new
After my first run in gravel

Looks pretty good, but what did you do to that airfilter?????? Did you tuck the overfilter into the end caps?
And i second that about a hump pack...When using high torque servos it's recommended to use a rechargeable hump pack due to the power draw... |

Yeah, is it wrong?
The hump pack is my next mod.
But I think I'll go with something better than the 1600 mAh pack.

Thanks!
I've added a couple of mods since my last post here.
Now there's a hump pack in it, rotostart and couples of little things.

Yeah they are GMX01C from GRP (the street tires)
The offroad tires are the stock ones.
And by the way, I've bought a second nitro car in January. It's a 1/10 on-road for drifting. And I'm looking to buy a roller on ebay to build a second buggy to have fun with my broke buddies. |
