Hi there,
Yep, a newbie, not in Nitro but with a Titan kind of truck !, here in Holland they do not sell them as the titan but as the Megamax, or in Germany as the Megalith !. but all the same trucks !.
some realy nice truck here on this forum, offcourse I want to share my truck aswell with you guys,
Its a Protech Megamax, with a .32 Collari, allu diff cups which I have rebuilt with hard steel diff and allu cups from a savage, if needed I can explaine how I did this (the savage diffs are somewhat smaller).
Custom painted body of a "Xciter" , some led lumination front and back, and not shonw on fotos but still waiting from the laser cutter some custom designed front and rear stainless polished bumpers.
Only problem now, is that my plastic spursgear are not holding up anymore as the collari is really coming loose,....need a upgrade for that, and stil looking for some dealers here in europe to get me some steel ones !.
oke, enough said, her are my pics:
Best regards,
Jeroen aka "Ozzy" |

thanks bro !, I am very happy with it.
Question,.........do you guys use CVD axels at the front or rear and the normal dogbones on front and rear. The store told me that it is better to use the CVD axels on the back and the dogbones at the front,..
But due to some serious bashing with it, the front dogbones starting to torque/twist,..
Most probably also due to the collari .32 engine on it .
regards,
Ozzy,....... |

| Sounds reasonable, the stock cvas are crap, they either shatter or the barrel pins fall out. |

Here are some new pictures, the problems with the CVA pins falling out is solved, I just grind a flat area in the middle of the pins, using good loctite and they stay in ,...for now,... I also made in ACAD some new bumpers and let them cut out by a lasercutter, then polished them,.....sweet looks isn't !
Some smaller rims, with homemade wheel extenders,....now the collari is picking up much better (I had some problem on topspeed with the original large/heavy wheels)
Sweet for bashing is it !! |
